2nd Mistake - Video

[The feed comes on and there is a just a nervous and uncertain looking robot human. He holds his fingers in his mouth an bites nervously at the tips. A groan sounds and he shifts the camera, shaking it in his grip.]

Oh...ahh...hmm. This...this is bad.

[It appears to be a pokemon center in the background. There is a moment where he drops the view of the camera and a very weak looking charmander, a young one, can be seen being held in his hands. It's flame was weak, barely flickering with life.

In the next moment he drops the camera and the sound of angry gibberish, muttering something about stupid human grip and fingers, can be heard as he frantically tries to balance the camera and the pokemon at the same time.]

Oh umm, darn it! Shoot...so...uhh ehehe. [He spurts air through his lips in a 'pffffffbbbb' sound.] Sooooo, pokemon, this one. I just wanted to say I wouldn't recommend giving them a bath. Water...anything nothing don't do it. They don't like it! It actually glitches them out, renders them useless. Of course this only applies to those with fire attached to them!

Now...you may be asking why I know this and just to clarify there is no reason at all to be asking that. I'm just letting others know incase they may be wondering if it's a good idea to engage in hydro aquatic activites with fire! No, no it' not good. Don't do it!

[A pause.]

Hehehhe well uhh this has been just great, simply educational hasn't it. I'm going to attend to..... Going to get some snacks from the pokemon center vending machines, yes! Nothing happened that might make you think something bad happened to a pokemon. No everything...is fine!

[While this is alarming for multiple obvious reasons, it's hitting Chihiro even moreso since that's one of the eggs he bred last month. Seeing the poor thing in such a state...]

You need to take your Charmander to the Pokemon Center right away!

[You see he hadn't been doing much except getting used to being a human since you and him last talked Chihiro and well he knew of pokemon centers but he hasn't been in one.]

[He's trying really hard not to get upset, because he's certain that if he does Wheatley might falter and cost this Pokemon even more time by doing so.]

[He clicks off the feed and runs into the center, all the while clutching the pokemon tightly.]

[All he can do is wait now, and hope that he does get that Charmander some help. It's nerve wracking, but there isn't much else he can do.]

Fire types cannot be around water, but Charmander can't in particular. If its flame ever went out...it could die.

[He pauses, rubbing a hand through his hair nervously and shifts his position.]

[... you know, Yusuke's screwed up a lot over the course of his life, but at least he can say he's never screwed up this bad. Were the Charmander not in such visibly poor shape, his first response to seeing this video would probably be to give the guy shit about being a moron. As it is, though--]

Idiot, don't just walk off and stuff your face! Can't you see that your Charmander's flame is about to go out? Get it to the hospital before you wind up with a dead lizard on your hands!

[Such violence and anger, the shock of it causes him to stumble backwards and drop the pokegear. Mutterings and shuffling is heard as he quicks pics up the pokegear.]

Alright! ...I don't want him to die! I'll go right away.

[And this, ladies and gentlemen, is one of many reasons why Yusuke will never believe anyone who tells him that getting pissed off doesn't solve anything. At any rate, he'll be waiting around to see if What's-His-Face checks back in with an update on the Charmander's condition; hopefully, the little bathing SNAFU he was talking about won't end more disastrously than it has already.]

Eh...well he will be okay? They told me that if I want to give him a bath to use warm water and a damp wash cloth...not a tub.

[Well, that was so acerbic it could've cut through iron. That said, Yusuke does relent a little after a second, and continues in a somewhat lighter tone of voice, saying:]

[He flinches again at the words. Letting out a small drawn out breath to calm himself. Breathing...that was a thing he forgot to do sometimes.]

Oh yes! I am new here, just arrived a couple of weeks ago and still getting used to the whole human thing and raising...pokemon thing. As you can see of course.

[A short pause.]

A Partner! I wouldn't be calling him that...it seems a little to much? It's unintelligent, slow, talks back.... No, that's the other one. The charmander is a babe, how can it be anything more then a useful animal to the bidding of a human.

That's what humans do right? I remember reading about it and then following suit robots serve humans or test them to their limits. OR babysit them in a chamber, forced to watch over a million brain deteriorating vegetables!
